Students at Kids&Us can obtain the “Global Communication in English” qualification from Trinity College London

As a Validated Course and Assessment Provider, Kids&Us becomes the first English teaching institution in the world to achieve this status with Trinity College London and, as of the 2026-2027 school year, it can provide with its courses and exams, the "Global Communication in English” (GCE) qualification, issued by Trinity and regulated by Ofqual and aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

This milestone is the result of a rigorous validation process that endorses the quality and robustness of our courses and evaluation system.

For the families, it provides a simple and consistent way to officially certify the level of English their child has achieved. For the students, it is an opportunity to obtain an international qualification that reflects the level of English they have achieved in their Kids&Us course.

How to obtain the GCE certificate after passing the exam:

Trinity issues qualifications for levels A1, A2, B1 and B2 upon passing the assessment for the corresponding Kids&Us course (Ben&Brenda, Animal Planet 2, Fairy Tales 2 and Mysteries 2, respectively). Families wishing to receive the certificate will need to cover the cost themselves.

Certificates for levels C1 and C2 will not incur any additional cost for families. Students who pass the final exam for The Future 2 and Subscription 2 courses, respectively, and who wish to receive the certificate, will be awarded it free of charge, in recognition of their learning journey at the school.

Kids&Us families wishing to apply for the GCE qualification must do so by 30 November via the link https://gce-onboarding.kidsandus.com; after this deadline, it will no longer be possible to apply for the qualification for this school year.
